How is a person with NPD likely to respond to being arrested for?
Badly. If a true pwNPD or a highly vindictive narcissist, theyve been keeping a file on you as they are steps ahead in knowing it would come to this. Expect a counter claim and/or retaliation which incriminates you, smears you and likely invalidates your order leaving you exposed and subjected to narcissistic rage. Narcs love attention but not documented negative attention for bad behavior. They will teach you a lesson and likely make your life hell as youve conveniently provided ammunition and a justified motive to do so. In the narcs mind, this is an excessive drama filled attack on your part. Narcissistic injury and you started it (yes, imagine the five year old playground politics here.) They will also find loopholes to break the temporary order and drag you to hell in court just for good measure so that you wont succeed in a permanent order. If for some reason that doesnt work well enough to satisfy their rage, well the list goes on and on. I dont say this to invoke fear, just a clear picture of what is the most likely outcome for trying to outnarc a narc. By all means if you are being harassed, take the protective measures available to you and that you are entitled to.
